Faith Haven House provides a supportive network and daily shelter to guide unhoused men from transition to independent living.
Faith Haven House will be a place where residents start the re-building process. We work with homeless men, providing a stable living environment. Throughout transition, they receive a network of support with available resources to meet their physical and spiritual needs.
Three interconnected layers of care support each resident as he moves from emergency shelter toward long-term stability and greater independence.
Every journey forward begins with safety, nourishment, and a place to rest. Residents have food available to prepare their own meals, with occasional shared meals offered through the kindness of Meal Train volunteers. While dinner is not delivered every day, each man has a warm bed and a welcoming, highly structured, drug-free place to rest, rebuild, and move forward.

A non-sensitive initial inquiry form evaluates basic eligibility, housing history, and immediate needs to determine placement readiness for unhoused men.
Residents have food available to prepare their own meals, and Meal Train volunteers occasionally add the gift of a shared meal. While daily hot meal service is not part of our program, every man has a warm bed and a safe, structured place to rest, rebuild, and move forward.
Dedicated Daytime House Monitors maintain a structured, drug-free sanctuary, offering hospitality, boundary enforcement, and continuous staff presence.
Regular one-on-one mentorship gives residents experienced guidance, encouragement, and personal accountability as they work toward stability.
We help graduates pursue stable employment, connect with long-term housing opportunities, and take meaningful steps toward greater independence — including homeownership when possible.
In St. Charles County, homelessness among single men rarely happens overnight. Most residents at Faith Haven House are good, hardworking men who found themselves just one crisis away — one sudden illness, one job loss, one family tragedy, or one broken relationship away from losing their shelter.

Between 2013 and 2015, Dareth Jeffers served meals to unhoused men and women. The standard answer to shelter requests was no. Dareth prayed, found servant-hearted partners, designed a logo, and made a plan. Faith Haven House became that YES. Today, men have a place to stay and a chance to rebuild.
